The staff is absolutely dedicated and very kind and 100% service oriented. We felt in the time we stayed here very well treated. Also the breakfast is rich with everything you need. Sparkling water would be a benefit. The only small downside maybe the side „garden view“ where you see on an empty not tidied building space … Due to the flood during the day you can’t lie at the beach and the pool side is very crowded and sun umbrellas are rare… if you swim a lot or don’t care you will enjoy here a lot. In the eve they Put up tents for dinner at the beach - very nice. All in all - we tested at least 10 hotels during our time in Thailand this time - and this one can be recommended.

We stayed at Dara Samui for 6 nights and it was a great value for money. The property is tightly managed, professional and efficient staff, anything raised gets addressed immediately. Key benefit is the location in Chaweng, surrounded by bars and restaurant, with direct access to a long stretch of beach Breakfast is great including an egg and crepes station. I liked the fact that fruits, vegetables and cold cuts are displayed in a closed part of the breakfast area and covered so no issue with flies Rooms are comfortable Walk to the beach side is very comfortable through well maintained gardens and ponds Only 'downside' was the limited number of sunbeds by the pool and the sunbeds with a metal frame so not too comfortable with the heat. I provided my feedback directly to the team and it was well received. For our next trip to Koh Samui we will definitely consider staying at Dara Samui

Had 4 weeks stay at the Dara and it was an amazing experience. The Hotel itself is stunning and the rooms superb and very large. Very well maintained in a tranquil setting and straight onto the beach. Within a few minutes walk you can be in the lively main street with bars, restaurants and other entertainment. The staff were a real credit to the Hotel, nothing was too much trouble, they were attentive and very obliging. Mas was a pleasure to get to know and made our stay much more special. Mook, Ann and Phyio were always there for us and were a pleasure to get to know. Other staff were also superb, they were all a pleasure to know. This was a incredible stay and we will certainly return

A great place to stay if you want to be in the middle of the action in Chaweng. The rooms are quiet, the breakfast has plenty of variety. The beach and pool are minimal though. I was there during the rainy season and the high water levels washed away the beach completely

Overall good value compared with other nearby hotels. I stayed in a suite with sea view - was told that they have only one room for this type. Room is very spacious (96 sqm) and well equipped though I wish the hotel could make the windows facing the sea a larger one to fully absorb the view. Breakfast buffet was limited, and so was the seating area. Hotel pool is small and the beach area is quite narrow. A few mins walk along the beach can get you to the larger beach area with more activities and beachside restaurants though. The hotel restaurant Dara Serene seems very popular. The setting and atmosphere, from what I saw, are really good. Booking is required and when I stayed there(early Aug 2023), they only had one dinner round at 18:45hrs so I didn’t try it out. I just walked around to take photos.

The service at this hotel is excellent. My father is a vegetarian and we were looking for something to eat at the breakfast buffet when the manager happened to see it and asked us if we were vegetarians and he made a special vegetarian menu for my father. I think this hotel is very special as it provides such special service.room were very clean and has nice deco too. I will stay here again when I come to Samui.

Spent 11nights here at Dara Samui. From the moment we arrived the staff made us most welcomed and this continued until we had to say good bye. We were very happy with our room ,the king bed was comfortable. The bathroom has a window that allows you to see into the bedroom and also the toilet has no door so if you want privacy in the bathroom it's not so good. Air conditioning worked well in our room. Breakfast was included in our visit and was great with a good variety of meals. The ladies and gentlemen workers were fantastic. Pool and pool bar were all very good , with the option of a lagoon chair with bar service. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Dari Samui, it's location at the top end of Chaweng road is still close to bars and restaurants, as well as shopping. A stroll down the beach to more resorts and open water swimming.

Great resort, quiet and well priced. Really clean rooms and bathrooms. Nice pool area and well priced food and drink at the resort. Great staff who are friendly and always happy to help. Recommended 🙂
